For larger Packs and Troops, the Filter feature will be invaluable. This feature is available in the Standard and Advanced packages.

With this feature, you can divy up your Unit into segments such as Dens/Patrols, Leaders, etc... You can manage these segments under "Members" on the "Administration" menu by clicking on "Den" or "Patrol" button. Once you have created your filters, you can assign Announcements and Events to them.

A Den/Patrol Filter will now be displayed to all members under the "Menu" on the left. Members can select the filters they are interested in viewing and presto, all other content will not be displayed for them. This is accomplished by storing a "cookie" on the member's browser that remembers their setting. It will be there ready for them the next time they use the Unit's website.

Note: This feature will not prevent members outside of the Den/Patrol/Group from seeing the information tagged for a specific Den/Patrol/Group if they so choose. It is only a convenience to help members focus on the information that is relevant to them.
