Email List Update - SOAR IDs starting with [A-H] please readVolume Testing of the new Email List feature is going great. No delivery issues have been reported and all testing customers are very happy with the "behavior" of the new feature. We need the volume testing to move forward more quickly though. Since turning on the Convert button on SOAR websites on 5/23, we just reached 200 Troops using the new Email List feature 2 days ago. There are just over 100 Packs using the new Email List feature as of today. On Monday June 9th, 2014 we are going to install the new Email List feature on 500 Troop and Pack websites. This will move the volume testing to the next stage. We will be selecting the first 500 customers alphabetically by SOAR ID. You can view your SOAR ID at Admin/Account on your SOAR website. If your SOAR ID starts with A-H, your site will be converted to the new Email List feature on Monday June 9th, 2014. Note: this includes customers that have a SOAR ID starting with a number. There is nothing you need to do. All of your existing Email Lists will continue to work. Any new Email Lists you create after that time will be under the new feature. The only difference is email going through your Email Lists will have the new "behavior" that is very similar to the original Email List behavior. See the Announcement about the new behavior for full details. You will be able to tell that you are on the new Email List feature when there is no Convert button at Admin/Email/Email Lists. The remainder of SOAR websites (letters J-Z) will be converted on Monday June 16th, 2014. Should you want to use the new Email List feature prior to the dates your site is scheduled to be converted, you can still use the Convert button at Admin/Email/Email Lists to request the change sooner. Given the time we have put into customer testing with the new Email List feature, we are very confident at this point that the feature will give you the "behavior" you want and guarantee delivery to your members after all of the email provider changes to security policies.
