You can control some of the default options for the EMail system by accessing the Email List Settings screen from the Administration/Email menu.

Settings are

• List Owner Email
  This it the email address of the person who will receive administrative messages from the Email system. Specifically, they will be notified when an email message sent to one of your Email Lists cannot be delivered and the reason why. This person can then determine the best course of action to take.
  • This should be a single valid email address.
  • This should not be an Email Alias or Email List address.

We are extremely pleased to announce a significant upgrade to Email List features - the 1st of three service upgrades that we will be rolling out over the next few weeks. This release includes a lot of feature additions and usability improvements to the Email Lists feature.

For customers with the Advanced package, all of these features are now available on your SOAR website.

We will be monitoring performance of this upgrade over the next 2 weeks. After we have addressed any performance issues, we will be rolling out the following two features sequentially.

The following additions have been made to the Administration/Members/Manage function based on customer suggestions.

• For each member a “view” button has been added. This will allow you to easily move to viewing the member as they appear in the Roster vs. editing the member
  
• A column has been added for each member labeled “C” that indicates if the member has Add Content permission
  
• A column has been added for each member labeled “A” that indicates if the member has Administration permission
  
• The overall font size of the table has been reduced so that it will fit better on the page without word wrapping

If a user tries to login and fails, the resulting page would not properly display custom header images, custom backgrounds, or images in the Welcome Message.

This issue has been fixed.

You can now select multiple Den/Patrols/Groups for Announcements and Events. These selections will show in the Calendar, Announcements, and Upcoming Events sections.

The previous drop down box has been replaced with a multiple selection box. You make the first selection with a single click. You can then make additional selections by holding down the Ctrl key at the same time you click the selection.

When using the Den/Patrol/Group Filter it would always include unit level (i.e. Pack/Troop/Group) events and announcements - no matter which filters you selected. At the same time, there was no way to view JUST the unit level events and announcements.

You will now see a unit level (Pack, Troop, or Group) in the Filter box on the left hand side of the screen. If you check this box, it will show you only unit level events. All unit level events will still be shown if this check box is not selected and others are – as in the original design.

Individual members can change their account information through the “My Profile” link.

In the current version, they cannot change parent/child relationships or leadership positions. Only an Administrator or an Adult designated as a leader can change these fields.

The following member fields have been modified to follow the same behavior.

Previously, when deleting an event, you were taken back to the home page.

A usuabilty improvement has been implemented that will now take you back to the calendar month of the deleted event. This will assist in modifying sequential calendar events.

As part of the TroopMaster/PackMaster import process, we run a number of filters against the data to make sure it imports properly. One of these filters was removing digits (0-9) from the member's name fields. i.e. John Smith 3rd.

This filter has been removed and the issue fixed.
