SOAR

With this function you can select the background image that will be used with your website. A stock library of background images has been provided for your use.

Note: To use the background feature, you need to select a Theme that has "background" in the name.

Through this page you can customize the currently selected Theme. This includes items such as font family, font size, and colors for various portions of your unit website.

Note: Each theme may have different attributes that can be customized.

Fonts

Only fonts that are guaranteed to be on all computers are available for use. You computer may have additional fonts, but that does not mean computers of your members will have the same fonts.

Colors

Valid color values are 'none' or a hex color code such as '#FFFFFF'. The 'none' value can be used to allow the attribute to be transparent and let the background show through or to remove a color. To the right of each color value is a button that will bring up a graphical color picker to assist in selecting colors.

Using this page you can change the look & feel of your unit website by selecting from one of the pre-packaged themes available.

Note: Selection of a new theme will discard any customizations to previous themes

A "theme" is a collection of components that define the look & feel of a website. The components include fonts, colors, images, etc... A theme is seperate from the content (announcements, events, etc) of your unit website.

The Theme feature allows you to easily change the look & feel of your unit website without touching your website content. That is the power of a theme.

All of the Theme features can be found in the Control Panel under the Site Theme section.

To assist in making it easier to add users to Email Lists, a "Select All" feature has been added to the following screens:

• Email List - Add Member
  
• Email List - Delete Member
  
• Email List - Add Authorized Sender
  
• Email List - Delete Authorized Sender
  

Before and after the list of users for these screens, a new checkbox is available labeled "Select All". When you select this checkbox, all users are selected for additional/deletion.

Some users were experiencing difficulties in adding a large number of users to an Email List at the same time. The system would state the users were added, but in fact they were not.

This issue has been resolved.

By default, a SOAR unit website is Private - content can only be viewed (other than the home page) by using a username/password to loing to the unit website.

This Access setting provides a means to remove the security from your unit website and create a Public website - all content is viewable to the public without logging in. It is accessable through the Control Panel and the "Access" button.

SERIOUS THOUGHT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CHANGING THIS SETTING!

This setting should only be used to assist in transition from an existing public unit website to a SOAR secure website service.
